Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at 717-506-5441 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  •  Zehring Physical Therapy operates as an out-of-network provider. This allows us to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care without limitations or restrictions from insurance companies.
  • We do provide detailed superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, and we accept HSA/FSA payments.

  • Zehring Physical Therapy is built around a performance-driven, one-on-one model of care. Every session is conducted with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and tailored specifically to the individual.
  • We specialize in working with active individuals and athletes, focusing not only on reducing pain but also improving movement, strength, and performance. Our goal is to identify and address the root cause of your issue while helping you return to activity stronger and more resilient.

  • No. Pennsylvania is a direct access state, which means you can be evaluated and treated by a physical therapist without a physician referral.
  • If your care extends beyond certain timeframes or if medically necessary, we will coordinate with your physician to ensure appropriate documentation and continuity of care.

  • All physical therapy sessions are 60 minutes and conducted one-on-one.
  • We typically see clients once per week for 4–8 weeks, depending on the condition and goals.
  • Many clients choose to continue with a maintenance or performance program after completing their initial plan of care.
